Video report of William Nicasi covering Montmartre 2008 in Leopoldsburg. Tjen Heyligen is shown extensively.
When a sick American oak had to be cut down in Leopoldsburg, Tjen sympathised with the people who were struggling with the fact that the old tree had to disappear. While talking to the local residents the idea came about to make a work of art with his chainsaw, from a part of the felled tree.
The work refers to the spontaneous conversations he had with the local residents.
